The study was done by swim retailer Swim Outlet. And they determined this by analyzing the number of Instagram hashtags for nearly 250 beaches from coast to coast. TripAdvisor reportedly gathered a total of 250 beaches. Sunset Beach, North Carolina ranks 12th most Instagrammable.
