North Carolina Duke Energy Customers Will See A Drop In Rates
Duke made the announcement yesterday according to our source, wsoctv.com. North Carolina Duke energy customers will see a rate decrease starting January 1. In a direct quote from Channel 9, “A typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month will see a decrease of $5.17 from current rates, falling from $142.17 to $137. That is 23% below the national average of $177.09 – a difference of approximately $480 per year.”
We Have Duke’s Annual Adjustment To Thank
We have Duke Power’s annual adjustment of the cost of fuel to thank for the rate decrease. If you are a commercial customer then you will see an even bigger savings. Commercial customers will see an average decrease in their bills of nearly 7.4%.
