You read that right! It used to be the Super Bowl but after yesterday’s holiday…Halloween has officially taken the lead!
Super Bowl Sunday has always been first when it comes to pizza says, but experts are saying that throughout the past few years the statistics of pizza sales have been slipping on that Sunday. Under Armor’s MyFitnessPal app conducted a study that puts Halloween first for pizza as of last year!
Pizza Hut alone is estimated to sell nearly one million pies for last night’s holiday. According to a company spokesperson sales rise an average of 25-35% during the prime trick-or-treating time.
When asking people if they agree with this study…the majority do. Producer Nicole definitely does consider she ordered pizza last night, and Roy did too! After asking some people they have said that chili is a close second, followed by hot dogs and other dishes.
