Are You Arranging Your Furniture Correctly? Yes, you have furniture, but is it working in the space where you put it? Maybe these tips will help you.

  • Each room should have a focal point. That can be a big television, nice-sized piece of art or maybe a fireplace.
  • You need to have conversation areas. Chairs shouldn’t be facing away from each other. Sitting areas shouldn’t be too far away from each other. You want to be able to have close conversations and not shout across the room.
  • Don’t push your furniture all the way against the wall. Give it some space to make the room look bigger.
  • Also, don’t put too much furniture in one place. The fewer pieces you have in one room will help the room feel more spacious.
