Kobe Bryant Was a Charlotte Hornet For A Week
The coverage is wall to wall, you can’t escape it. The feeling I have when hearing about the death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and seven others is the overwhelming sense of how short life is. We hear it and we say it but it really can be way too short. What a tragic end for a father and daughter that seemed so close. It reminds me to say I love you to those I love a little more and savor each moment.
Back in 1996 Kobe Bryant’s name was called to be a professional athlete here in Charlotte. His heart wasn’t in it and he went elsewhere.
