We are a few weeks into the effects of the Covid-19 crisis right here in our area and one of the things I really already knew to be true; North and South Carolina shows up to help when help is needed. You are saving precious lives. And you are doing it in many different ways.
People from across the Carolina’s are literally risking their lives to help others. We want to honor you and to thank you for everything. Some say, “well, it’s my job” but it is so much more than that. These are unprecedented waters that no one really saw coming and yet you keep stepping up. You are the heartbeat of our community.
From truckers, to linemen, to doctors and nurses; from pharmacies to farmers and grocery store workers; we thank you and we salute you. Here are a few of the latest folks who let us know who they are now please allow us to thank you as well.
