Gallery: Love Happens When Owners and Dogs Stare At One Another
There is no fighting it. My husband is completely in love with an 80 lb blonde. I just can’t compete with those soulful eyes, that curly hair and that sweet disposition. Her kisses and hugs are never ending and she always comes running when he calls.
Now there is science to back up the fact that when dog and owners stare at each other the love hormone oxytocin is released meaning people can feel just as strongly about their dogs as they do their relatives.
Researchers are saying that in the times we are living in right now, people are turning more and more to their pets to fill up their love tank. Plus we can hug them and we are all starving for hugs.
