Watch: Confusion On The Dance Floor As Tyra Makes Mistakes Live On TV
Bless her heart. I truly empathize with television hosts who make crucial mistakes on live TV. Remember when Steve Harvey gave the Miss Universe crown to the wrong girl. Ouch! Embarrassing for the host and can be devastating for the contestants.
Dancing with the Stars isn’t quite the same as Miss Universe but there was big confusion during the broadcast last night. The “dancers” live and die on the show on elimination night and last night it wasn’t quite clear for awhile who can stay and who can go.
Tyra declared one couple safe when they weren’t at all. It is easy to do, especially if you are new. You have a director in your year giving you moment to moment instructions on who stays and who goes, sometimes it is someone in the control room giving you incorrect instructions. But when you are the one standing up front with a microphone, unfortunately you are the one with egg on your face.
