Here’s How Law Enforcement Plans To Enforce North Carolina’s Mask Mandate
Governor Roy Cooper’s new mask mandate goes into effect tonight through December 11 but how will it be enforced?
The new state order says everyone needs to wear a mask when they are with someone who is not a member of their family. This is only for in doors.
Different law enforcement may handle policing the mandate differently. Charlotte Mecklenburg Police department says they will handle “violaters” on a case by case basis. But they could site you if you show push back to the mandate. It is a class 2 misdemeanor and carries a one thousand dollars fine.
