A 9 lb Goldfish Found In A South Carolina Lake
Wildlife officials in Greenville, South Carolina found something out of the ordinary during a routine testing. Normally, they might run across bass, catfish, the occasional brim but this time they spotted something bright orange in the water.
Upon closer inspection they discovered a 9 lb goldfish, which of course is not indigenous to the area. How did it get there? Noone knows how or why it got there but it was in perfect health and officials released it back into the water to live his best goldfish life out in the open water. It is possible that he started out in life to be someone’s pet and that pet owner may have tired of caring for him.
