Watch: Nearly 12 Ft Long Great White Shark Tagged Off The North Carolina Coast
See, this is why I’m just fine with my toes in the sand when I go to the Carolina beaches. And by sand I mean the sand underneath my beach chair. A nearly 12 foot long 883 pound female great white shark was caught and tagged off the North Carolina coast over the weekend.
Researchers say she put on quite a show before they got her in the boat. And this is all for science, she was returned and not harmed during the process.
Scientists named her “Freya” which means noble woman. To learn more about this story just check out the video and story from Channel 9
