The Gas Pipeline Is Flowing Again
Great news! Colonial Pipeline began to slowly restart yesterday after the cyber attack that halted the flow and rocked our world. I repeat, the pipeline has restarted and things should get back to normal soon.
Even if you didn’t join in on the panic we have seen here in Charlotte for the past few days (thank you!), this has effected you. I first heard about the severity of the panic buying from Debbie. She texted me on Monday with the warning that people were losing their minds at the gas stations. It prompted me to ask my husband to fill up our car after he got off work because I knew we were down to about a quarter of a tank. Even Monday , he had to go to three places before he found a station that had fuel available.
It looks like the nightmare is coming to an end. Officials say it will take a few days for the 5,500 mile pipeline to return to normal. To learn more, get all the information right here.
