Survey: The Best Country Singer Ever From North and South Carolina
Oh man this is a tough choice. And let’s face it, who is best is really just in the eye of the beholder. The beholder in this “Best in each state” survey just so happens to be the website Taste of Country.
They have compiled a list of the best country artists from each state. We are rich in great country artists in the Carolinas. Just off the top of my head let’s see if I can name a few; spitballing here but let’s go with Randy Travis, Josh Turner, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Chris Lane, Don Gibson, Earl Scruggs, Scotty McCreery, Lee Brice. Those were just a few that popped in my head.
Did you know that Jimmie Allen is from Delaware? I didn’t either but he has been voted the best country singer from that state. Bill Andersen was chosen as the best country singer of all time from South Carolina beating out Josh Turner, Lee Brice and Darius Rucker.
