Creepy “Elves” Series Coming To Netflix In Time For Christmas
Let me start by saying that I am usually the first person to warn you away from foreign language movies or TV shows. Look, when I watch TV, I don’t want to have to read…I want to relax and just watch. That being said, when I unknowingly stumbled onto this trailer this morning (thinking it was an English language show), I was mesmerized.
Yeah, not exactly Santa’s little helpers, right? Here’s a synopsis of the limited event series from Netflix from Collider: Produced and set in Denmark, the Danish language series follows a family of four hoping to reconnect over the Christmas holidays by traveling to a remote Danish island — which they soon realize is not the idyllic vacation destination they’d hoped for. Controlled by members of a fiercely religious community, the family discovers that the island is populated with elves, real, vicious creatures far more terrifying than their fairytale counterparts. And when the family’s youngest finds and brings home a baby elf…the island erupts into all-out war. Elves begins streaming on November 28.
