Walker Hayes Says That God Once Saved Him From A Bar Fight
This has been quite the year for Walker Hayes and it just got even better. He just garnered a Grammy nomination in the best country song category for “Fancy Like”. But things were not always rosy in Walker’s garden.
Walker Hayes tells CBS that God once saved him from a bar fight. “I was two years sober, and I drove to a bar, and I just wanted to fight. I just wanted to get hammered and get in a fight. But the Lord had other plans. I didn’t have my wallet and I just went home”.
I love a man that loves his family like Walker does and who proclaims the name of Jesus whenever he can. He has a couple more hits coming down the pike so listen out for them right here on Country 1037.
