A Pair Of Alpacas Cause Mayhem In A Residential Neighborhood
I used to want alpacas. I mean they are just so cute but my farmer friends quickly reminded me how mischievous the little devils can be. They look like angels, but they will spit at you when you least expect it. And they like to find their way out of enclosures.
An Oakland family found out the hard way when their alpacas Boogie and Woogie got loose and roamed a community for a while. Some people were delighted but many just did not know what to think.
Neighbors tried to lure them with hay and other treats. Apparently Boogie and Woogie’s owner left the back door unlocked so they went perhaps looking for love. They are back where they belong this morning after being captured.
