I knew it seemed too good to be true. Through the app Zelle you can transfer money from one person to another with the touch of a button on your phone. This is great for many reasons. If you have college kids and they need some money, boom. And the list of benefits seemingly goes on and on.
Now it seems like everyday we hear how people are getting scammed through this app and others. We were victims of this over the weekend. I tried to Zelle my husband Rick, on my end it showed it was sent and withdrawn out of my account but he never received it. Someone got that one hundred dollars and it wasn’t the person I sent it to. We got it straightened out through our bank.
