The Charlotte Area Could See Record High Temperatures Today
Back when I was growing up the old timers had an expression on a hot day like we are going to have today. They would say “I’m sure glad I’m a Christian, cause if hell’s any hotter than this….”. We are about to see heat like we haven’t see in a while according to Channel 9.
Near record to record heat is expected and the Charlotte region is under a heat advisory. June 13, 1958 the heat got up to 97 degrees. We will get precariously close to that today with temps expected around 95.
