A National Magazine Recognizes Charlotte and Greenville Among Top Foodie Towns

If you don’t love delicious food, I’m not sure we can be friends.  And lucky for us we live in an area that is considered one of the best up and coming large cities in the whole country for good food.  That’s not just me talking, that is according to a new report in Food and Wine.

Charlotte is among the top three big cities named in the prestigious report.  Boise, Idaho came in first, then Charlotte and Cincinnati, Ohio rounds out the top three.

Among the best restaurants is Nellie’s in Belmont.  Technically of course Belmont is not in Charlotte but close enough. It IS so good and among the places to eat that is relatively inexpensive.  Most people know this but it is owned by the Jonas family, as in the Jo Bros Mama and Daddy.  I go there quite a bit.

More good news for the Carolinas.  Greenville, South Carolina is named in the top five  smaller up and coming cities for foodies.
