It is probably the most recognizable house in North Carolina, if you don’t count the Biltmore House of course. The 2008 film, ‘Nights in Rodanthe’ made a big impression on a lot of us. Not just for the story but for the house itself.
That exact home in Nights In Rodanthe that was featured in the film with Diane lane and Richard Gere is now on the market. You could own it!! Well, I couldn’t but maybe you could. The listing price is 1.8 million dollars. Seems like just a few years ago they were moving the house back because the ocean was taking it over.
What is it about that house that made us fall in love with it? Was it the unusual architecture? The fact that it was a huge hit that was filmed right here in North Carolina?
