The McRib Is Back

The iconic McRib sandwich is back at McDonald’s! According to Chewboom, the fan favorite will only be available for a limited time though.

The McRib was first introduced in 1981 in Kansas City, Kansas where it became a regional hit before expanding across the country and becoming one of the brand’s most highly anticipated limited-time menu offerings.

You can find the McRib at participating McDonald’s locations nationwide through Sunday, November 20th. Why do you think McDonald’s doesn’t make the McRib a permanent menu item?

McDonald's Announces Return of the McRib, Fans Lose Their Minds

McDonald’s McRib fans are counting down the days until November 1 after the fast-food giant announced the pending return of the popular sandwich.

McDonald’s made the news official tweeting out, “nobody: . me: i think it’s time to bring the McRib back 11.1.” Per USA Today, “Last year was the first time since 2012 that the sandwich was available nationwide. In October 2019, it was available for a limited run.”

Even though the announcement was subtle, the reaction to it certainly was not. Here are some notable responses to the return of the McRib, from fans to even other fast-food brands.
