Wayne bought the winning ticket at the 7/11 on Old Concord Road in the University area. He went to Raleigh to collect his money this week and he chose the lump sum of $600,000. After the required state and federal with holdings he walked out of the North Carolina Education lottery with $427,507 in his pocket. That is a pretty good returns on his twenty five dollar investment.
