The force was with a little bitty dog from Hendersonville. This North Carolina Yorkie named Chewbacca survives a bear attack.  How in the world could a little 6 pound dog do such a thing? He had a little help from his daddy.

John Koerber took Chew B, as he calls him, outside for a bathroom break this week around 4 in the morning. A  bear suddenly comes out of the woods and started chasing poor little Chew B as he was trying to do his business.  John jerked on Chew B's leash as soon as it registered what was actually happening. That motion sent the poor little guy  flying about ten feet in the air.

He caught him and starting running for the house.  Well, the bear got to the porch before John and Chew B did.  John was able to fend the bear off with a stick and a yell. The bear backed up for just a second giving John and his pup time to get in the house.  Wow!  I hope there is video to prove this because it does sound like a Saturday morning cartoon.  To learn more get all the details from USA Today right here.  I guess it is fair to say the Force was with them both. Sorry, had to.

And I am officially doing the wrong thing with my life. Yes, I post occasionally on TikTok but I've yet to make a penny off of that. But if you're doing it correctly, you can be making a pretty penny. And one of the most popular types of accounts on the social media platform? Dogs. There are tons of dog influencers on TikTok and many of them are quite successful. The hashtag "dog" has a whopping 413.8 billion views with #dogsofTikTok and #dogs each having well over 100 billion views as well. That's a billion with b. But more important in the world of influencers than views is engagement rates (likes, comments, shares, etc) which these canines are also racking up.

Our friends at Pet Portraits conducted a study on the most financially successful dog influencers on TikTok. And yeah, I'm in the completely wrong career field. These dogs are racking up what I make in a week in one post. To come up with these dollar amounts Printed Pet Memories used an Influencer Marketing Calculator (didn't know that existed) to figure out what they can earn per sponsored TikTok post. Anyone have a dog I can borrow? Keep reading to see who the most successful dog influencers are, a cute video of them, as well as what they can bring in per post.
