I was just talking to my friend and neighbor about this. We want to take a trip out west but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg to get there. And we want to get to the fun quickly. So, this is super exciting. 4 new western resort destinations added out of this North Carolina airport. Rocky Mountains, here we come.
According to our source, the Charlotte Observer, American Airlines has announced they are adding 4 new western resort destinations. And you can get there directly from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. That means starting this summer, you can take a direct flight to places like Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Love the show ‘Yellowstone’? Check out Bozeman, Montana for yourself.
These newly added direct flights can even take you to Calgary, Canada and the Pacific Northwest like Spokane, Washington. All four of these newly added flights will begin in June and continue through September according to American Airlines. I don’t think I have to tell you how cool it is out west. I went once as a junior in high school and it is another world out there. As an adult I would love to explore working ranches where I can travel on horseback near the Grand Tetons. It has been fun to dream. Now it will become a little more of a reality.
According to the Charlotte Observer, “Daily service from CLT to Spokane and Jackson Hole will begin June 5 and continue through Sept. 3. Flights to Calgary and Bozeman are being offered on Saturdays, starting June 8 through Sept. 3”. Yes, I can just see Yellowstone National Park right now. Tickets are currently on sale for all 4 new western resort destinations added out of this North Carolina airport.
