A popular South Carolina pizza joint is expanding for the first time in 30 years. Lake Wylie Pizza and Italian restaurant has long been a place to get delicious locally made pizza. Now there will be another location in York County to get your favorite pizza pie.
Since 1995 this pizza joint has been around. And its been one of my families favorites for the past five years when we moved to Clover. When I heard they were expanding, I was hoping it would also be nearby and it will be. According to Channel 9 in Charlotte, their second location is coming to York. York, South Carolina is becoming quite the restaurant destination in the country.
The company says the new location is right down the road from us. Hurray! According to wsoctv.com, the new space will be in the Food Lion shopping area at the intersection of 321 and and Hwy 5. That is where R&B Pub House and 321 Crossroads used to be. A popular South Carolina pizza joint expanding for the first time in 30 years.
The current restaurant is on the way home from Charlotte to Clover. It’s just off 49 beyond Buster Boyd Bridge on the South Carolina side. The owner is well known in the community. Huseyin Yem was named businessperson of the year by the Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce for 2023. Not sure if it’s because of the menu but the menu sure is yummy. All the Italian fare you would expect plus burgers, salmon and steaks.
When my family and I go, we get the same delicious pizza pie. All the meats, double cheese and mushrooms. We love the atmosphere too. It looks like a traditional Italian Bistro. This popular South Carolina pizza joint is expanding for the first time in 30 years.
