This popular midwest coffee chain is making it’s way to North Carolina. Scooter’s Coffee is based out of Omaha, Nebraska. And it’s making its way south to Lake Norman. According to the Charlotte Observer, construction is underway at 689 NC16 Business North in Denver, North Carolina.
Scooter’s is not new to North Carolina. The first Tar Heel franchise has been around since 2020. That location is in Monroe. In all, the coffee giant has 750 stores in 30 states. They are known far and wide for their espresso, fruit smoothies and even their baked from scratch pastries according to our source, The Charlotte Observer.
Not only is Scooter’s in Monroe already. You can also find one of their coffee locations in Lincolnton and Indian Trail. No date announced yet for the new location in Denver. But as soon as we hear we will let you know.
What is your go to coffee beverage. I like my coffee simple, usually just black. One of my co workers likes a latte, another likes cream and sugar. Where did coffee drinking come from anyway. Well, we did a little digging. According to ncausa.org, coffee can be traced back to what is thought to be their original origins in Ethiopia. Legend has it that the benefits of the coffee beans were discovered accidentally. According to lore, a farmer noticed his goats had more energy after consuming a certain bean. And the coffee trade was born.
