Popular North Carolina Outlet Mall Welcomes New Retailers
It seems all I hear lately when it comes to brick and mortar retail is that it’s dying fast. Whenever I visit a mall, I see more and more empty spaces where stores used to be. I must admit, this makes me sad. My generation is the one that was raised in the mall. It was also the epicenter of social gathering in middle and high school. So, to see its demise…
Anyway, apparently some spaces in Concord Mills Mall are filling back up!
The North Face is an apparel store whose brand is hiking and outdoor clothes and equipment. The Denver Colorado based story will open for business August 4.
Funny, I was just having a conversation with a college aged girl about Uggs the other night. I’ve never been a big fan and stated I was “Glad that fad didn’t last.” She looked at me like I had horns growing out of my head and said, “What are you talking about? I need another pair!” She was right, I was loud wrong. A new Ugg store is slated to open at Concord Mills later this year.
Another retailer coming soon to Concord Mills is a new one. Primark was founded in Ireland in the late 1960s and sells men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel as well as housewares, beauty products and lingerie. Primark has more than 400 stores worldwide and will soon debut at Concord Mills Mall near Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Another store that has newly arrived on the scene at Concord Mills Mall is Gilly Hicks. Gilly Hicks is part of the Hollister Co. family. They’ve already opened across from The Children’s Place at Concord Mills. If you’re shopping for bras, bralettes, underwear, loungewear, swimwear, and sleepwear, Gilly Hicks is a definite destination for you.
Other arrivals at Concord Mills include Cotton: On, New York Thread, and MINISO. Concord Mills Mall is located at 8111 Concord Mills Blvd., now sports almost 200 retailers.
