Ingredients:
8 ounces bowtie pasta
4 cups fresh spinach
1/2 cup craisins
1/3 cup chopped nuts (pine, walnut, pecans, almonds)
4 ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
1/4 cup cilantro chopped (I neglected to include in video…but this makes it yummy)
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar (could use apple cider vinegar instead)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup oil (vegetable or canola)
optional: grilled chicken breast or other protein of choice for topping if desired
Directions:
Cook pasta following package directions. Drain and rinse with cool water. In a shaker container or jar, combine dressing ingredients (teriyaki through oil) and shake. In a large bowl, toss salad ingredients (omit spinach until just before serving) and pour desired amount of dressing over salad. Top with chicken or other protein if desired.
