Tanner’s Adventures- Disney Prices Going Up!
Are you thinking about heading to Disney World any time soon? Well, you might like to know about some recent changes to ticket prices.
We’re never shocked when Disney World has an increase in ticket prices. It happens every year. This year they threw in a big change in addition to higher pricing. In 2016, one day tickets were changed to tiered pricing. Your ticket price depended on when you go to the parks. Multi-day tickets remained the same price, now matter when you plan on vacationing at the theme parks. Not any more. Starting October 16th, multi-day tickets will be variable pricing. Peak times will cost more. If you want to spend the week of Christmas at Disney World, plan to pay more (as if it wasn’t already expensive enough!) You practically have to be a rocket scientist to plan a vacation to Disney these days. If you want to eat at the popular restaurants, you have to book it 180 days before your vacation. If you want the good fast passes, you have to grab them 60 days before you get there.
Of course we’ll still go. We love the place! We’ll moan and groan about the prices and how much planning has to go into it, but we’ll do it because we love the experience. We’re doing our part to keep that little mouse rich. LOL
