Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence is not getting caught up in toxic people, places and things. Emotional intelligence is making a habit of popping a positive thought as soon as you catch yourself spiraling down a negative hole.
I raise my emotional intelligence when I eat happy food and snacks, like Saturday night when I drank a glass of Port wine in the designated Queens cup, grabbed fresh blackberries, strawberries and topped it off with some of these freaking amazing chocolate bites that were formed in the shape of a potato chip. OMG!
I’m definitely an extrovert 90 percent of my day and get exposed to irritating situations quite frequently, but I highly treasure being an introvert with no one around. Here’s the deal, people will irritate you, situations will hit you like a mack truck from behind, and every now and then some financial burdens will appear. Here are my words to the wise: be aware of what makes you happy and chose the happier path of least resistance. The holidays will soon approach and you’ll need to adjust your attitude into grateful mode.
A big secret is to immediately drink 4 ounces of water when people upset you, it helps to reboot the body. Be safe and ask for help if you need it.
