Charlotte Hornets Player Suspended For Violating Drug Policy
He will be indefinitely gone for now.
Monk indefinitely suspended Charlotte guard Malik Monk is gone, indefinitely suspended. The league announced Wednesday that the Hornet violated the NBA’s anti-drug program; though, ESPN reports the league did not go into detail.
The 22-year-old will miss Wednesday’s Knicks game and will remain suspended “until he is determined to be in full compliance with the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program,” according to the League’s statement.
Monk is in his third season in Charlotte – averaging 10.3 points per game this season
