Some Child Care Help Coming For NC Workers
This will help some who are struggling with work and caring for children.
Some workers who need child care access during the virus outbreak are getting financial help from the North Carolina state government.
The state Division of Health and Human Services announced hospital, police and emergency workers and others required to work outside their homes can now get emergency child care subsidies from the state. Applicants must meet income requirements and have no other child care options.
The state also said workers in child care centers that take care of these kids could see a pay raise up to $200 or $300 a month.
