Bull Rider Dies After Being Thrown During Event
This is so sad. Friends say he died doing what he loved.
A student at Oklahoma State University passed away Thursday after he was thrown from a bull during a rodeo.
20-year-old bull rider Rowdy Lee Swanson was competing in the Palo Pinto County Livestock Association’s PRCA Rodeo in Texas last week when he was injured.
The rodeo Chairman Scott Fenner posted this on social media, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Rowdy Swanson following injuries sustained at the Palo Pinto County Livestock Association’s PRCA Pro Rodeo. The entire Rodeo Committee and our rodeo family extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Rowdy’s mother Venessa, his brother Roper, and his entire family.”
So sad. RIP
