Wipeout Contestant Dies After Completing Obstacle Course

The TV show Wipeout is being rebooted on TBS. During filming, one of the contestants needed medical attention after completing the shows obstacle course. Then he was transported to a local hospital. He later passed away.
Wipeouts production company confirmed the contestant’s death in a statement on Friday. “We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and our thoughts are with them at this time.” They went on to say, “We are devastated to have learned of his passing and our deepest sympathy goes out to the family.”
The show always has medical on site and all contestant pass a physical. No word yet on the cause of his death.
