Blake Shelton Has Something He’d Like To Tell His Younger Self
Oh I always love this question. What would you tell your younger self? It is fun to think about. Don’t even get me started. I would have a thing or two to say to little Catherine for sure. For one I would tell her, “you got it right the first time” when it came to choosing husbands;)
A popular magazine recently asked Blake Shelton what he would tell his younger self. And we so disagree with his answer because we loved it. We are approaching the 20th anniversary of Blake’s 2001 debut single, Austin(can you believe it!) When asked what he would tell his younger self, this is what he said.
I would have told that kid, ‘Hey man, that mullet is not nearly as cool as you think it is…and I would have told myself to get more rest back then. When I started at 24 I lived life to the max and that is probably why I ran out of battery so soon.’ Hey, we loved that mullet and we wouldn’t want him to change a thing.
