How Could This Possibly Be The Number One Song On The “Dirty Dancing” Soundtrack
The USA Today ranked all the songs on the “Dirty Dancing” soundtrack. In my opinion, they are way off with number one.
The movie celebrating its 35th anniversary on Sunday. It told the timeless tale of young Frances “Baby” Houseman vacationing at a swanky Catskills resort in the summer of 1963 with her family when she meets supremely cool dance instructor Johnny Castle. Sparks fly, life lessons are had and Johnny hoists Baby in an iconic movie moment, all set to a mix of original ’80s tunes. Part of the film was shot in North Carolina.
The soundtrack was epic. This article ranked the song “Be My Baby” from the Ronettes as the number one tune. C’mon! Bill Hayes and Jennnifer Warren came in at number two with “Time of My Life.” How can that not be number one? Feel free to discuss among yourselves.
