Video: A Walk In The Footprints Of Dinosaurs
Drought conditions in Texas recently revealed dinosaur tracks that are estimated to be 113 million years old.
In a video posted to Reddit by user u/SoberClassZorro, you can clearly see what appear to be dinosaur footprints in a dried-up riverbed.
According to a statement released Monday by Dinosaur Valley State Park, the tracks are believed to have been left by a dinosaur called Acrocanthosaurus. The Acrocanthosaurus grew as large as 36 feet tall and weighed nearly 5 tons. They were considered apex predator carnivores.
The tracks would not normally be visible, but severe drought conditions caused a river in the state park to completely dry up.
