The Largest Pumpkin EVER Grown in The United States Of America
Wow this thing is Gourd gous!! Get it? Cause pumpkins are gourds. Hey, they don’t pay us by the jokes around here. Seriously though, you should take a look at this record setting pumpkin just certified as the nation’s heaviest.
We know a lot of people around here in North and South Carolina grow beautiful and plentiful pumpkins but this 2,554 pound one was grown up in Buffalo, New York. The record for the world’s heaviest was 2,517 pounds so this one handily outweighs it. It was grown at the Great Pumpkin Farm. Think about it, it weighs as much as two medium sized horses at least!
The largest pumpkin in the world was grown in Italy at 2,702 pounds. This one and that one makes a lot of pumpkin spice lattes!
