100 Year Old Couple Says Key To Long Marriage Is Arguing And Whiskey
Josephine and Alfred Waterfield say the key to their long 75 year marriage is arguing everyday. This pair of centenarians met in a pub before World War 2 and then got hitched in 1947.
Their son, Alan, tells the Daily Mirror, “they’d say the secret to a happy marriage is having a row every day. They are like that, nothing serious they just bicker. It’s rare nowadays to see marriages last so long so they got something right and it’s lovely. There’s some hope for us all.”
Alan goes on to say that his dad likes whiskey. “He actually has a whisky chaser and a beer every day with his lunch and says that does him some good.” They both reportedly have a Baileys every night before they go to bed. For more details on this amazing couple, check it out in the New York Post.
