Recall: Your SUV Could Break Out In Flames
Ford has announced a recall of 634,000 SUVs that are in danger of bursting into flames. The auto manufacturer says cracks fuel line cracks in Ford Escape and Bronco Sports SUVs have already caused fires under the hoods of at least 20 vehicles.
According to MyNBC5. The recall affects Escapes made between 2022 and 2023, and Bronco Sports SUVs made between 2021 and 2023. Rather than replace the faulty fuel injector that’s causing the cracks, Ford is adding a program to the vehicles’ computers that alerts drivers when fuel is leaking. A tube that will drain leaked fuel down to the ground will also be added.
