Hugh Jackman’s Eating 8000 Calories A Day
Let the title of this blog sink in one more time. Hugh Jackman’s eating 8,000 calories a day. When I started with PHD Weight Loss last May 5, I embarked on a re-education about food and eating. In the next six months, I shed 75 pounds. I’m sure were MANY weeks in there in which my entire caloric consumption for a week did not exceed 8,000 calories! So, in all honest, this sounds horrifying. However, it’s not 8,000 calories like I would eat (cakes, cookies, donuts, candy, etc.), believe it or not, it’s a “responsible” 8,000 calories?

Jackman is having to bulk up to once again don the claws of “Wolverine” in the upcoming “Deadpool 3.” To fuel the workout regimen that it takes to become and maintain “Wolverine,” apparently this is what it takes. Here’s what you’re seeing. The six meals Jackman consumes in this given day include black bass (2,000 calories), Patagonia salmon (2,100 calories), two chicken burgers (around 1,000 calories each) and two grass-fed sirloins (1,100 calories each). If you do the math, yup, 8,000 calories a day. I’m just trying to imagine what it might be like to be a member of Jackman’s family sitting down for supper with him. They are eating normally, he’s doing this. You can bet I’d have desert…and his…just to be “that guy.” “Deadpool 3” will be in theaters on November 8.
