Fayetteville, NC Restaurant Introduces Meat Doughnuts

The Smokey Bones chain is delving into donuts. You will have to take a short trip to Fayetteville, North Carolina to give it a try.

In celebration of National Donut Day on June 2, the restaurant is launching savory and sweet Maple Bacon Glazed Donuts.

Restaurant News says the doughnut is a delicious blend of spices and seasonings, the Maple Bacon Glazed Donuts boasts a unique flavor profile that combines the succulent taste of bacon with the soft and fluffy texture of a classic cake donut. The dish comes with three donuts dunked in maple bacon glaze and topped with crispy bacon bits. Whether you’re a bacon or donut lover, this treat is sure to satisfy your craving for meaty goodness.

All Bones Club dine-in guests will be able to try the “Meat Donut” for free on National Donut Day. They will only be available until June 30.

The chain released a statement saying, “Our version of a meat donut is a hot, melt-in-your-mouth sweet and salty explosion of flavor, and we can’t wait for meat and donut lovers to try it.
