Free Touch-A-Truck Event For Kids This Saturday
The Town of Indian Trail will host a free Touch-A-Truck event for kids this Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Chestnut Square Park.
Organized by Indian Trail Parks and Recreation, Touch-A-Truck will feature police cars, fire trucks, construction vehicles and more. More than 20 pieces of apparatus are expected to be on display.
Touch-A-Truck will be inclusive to all. The first hour of the event has been designated a Sensory Friendly Hour, meaning there will be no sirens or horns activated during that time. Anyone with sensory issues is encouraged to attend during the 10 a.m. hour.
You’ll also find plenty to eat and do at Touch-A-Truck. Several food trucks will be on hand, including Waxhaw Kettle Corn, Cozy Coffee, Stick It 2 You, A Little Taste Of Chicago, and Bubba Jacks. There will also be face painting, crafts, balloons, a trackless train and yard games.
