Graceland Tour Honors Lisa Marie Presley With Rare Look At Elvis Family Items
Graceland has a special tour. Graceland commemorated Lisa Marie Presley’s life and memoir.
Exclusive Tour
Elvis’ daughter’s fans were invited into the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s famed home for an exclusive tour of the estate’s private items. The event took place days before the publishing of “From Here to the Great Unknown: A Memoir,” Riley Keough’s book about her mother’s 2023 death.
What Will You See
The 17-person tour began with a 7-minute welcome message on the rock legend’s life. In the voiceover, Elvis recounted his favorite family recollections at the property. The fans were guided throughout the home, where they viewed items that detailed Lisa Marie’s life with her famous father, including a key that was used in a cart that Elvis drove Lisa Marie around in; she later drove around Graceland in it with her twin daughters, Finley and Harper. Lisa Marie’s childhood photos, high chair, tricycle, and white fur jacket were all on show. Elvis sent Lisa Marie a scarf with a message: “To Yisa. Long Beach Arena. I love my Lisa. Daddy.” Lisa Marie received the scarf so she wouldn’t feel left out when Elvis presented his famed scarves to showgoers.
According to Daily Mail UK, there was also a kitchen drawer left open with a Memphis phone book and the words ‘Lisa’s Home. Graceland’ scribbled in Lisa Marie’s handwriting. There was also a photo of Lisa Marie and her late son Benjamin, who passed before her in 2020 at the age of 27, after shooting himself dead in the family’s mansion.
Lisa Marie died in January 2023, at the age of 54, after suffering a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.
