Marlboro Is Getting Out Of The Cigarette Business
Sorry Smokers, Marlboro is going to stop making and selling cigarettes.
Philip Morris International, the parent company of Marlboro, will now focus will be on the “IQOS,” a device which heats tobacco instead of burning it.
According to the company, IQOS devices, “reduce the number of noxious chemicals found in cigarette smoke by 95 percent.”
The company which makes Marlboro has vowed to phase out cigarettes and move into smoke-free products instead.
