Wingate Athlete Almost Dies, Then Goes On To Win A National Champoinship
What an amazing story from right here in the Carolina’s.
Congrats to Isaiah Kyle! He suffered cardiac arrest at practice when he was a sophomore, and he persevered and just won a Division 2 national championship in track and field. The Wingate athlete’s heart stopped for 12 minutes, and he worked his way back to win in the high jump!
A HUGE shout out to the first NATIONAL CHAMPION in school history for @WingateUniv Track and Field.
