This isn’t good.
The University of North Carolina has suspended the entire women’s basketball staff and has launched an external review of the program.
The move is in response to “issues raised by student-athletes and others,” according to the University.
Law firm Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein have been hired by UNC to “assess the culture of the women’s basketball program and the experience of our student-athletes,” WRAL reports.
Coach Sylvia Hatchell and her entire staff have been placed on paid leave during the review.
Only time will tell how this plays out.
