Watch: Black Bear Roaming A Hickory Neighborhood Seemed To Be After One Thing
I always said if I am ever riding my horse in the woods and I come across a black bear, that might be my last day riding my horse in the woods. I have even googled “can horses outrun bears” 🙂 But this black bear that turned up in a neighborhood in Hickory seemed more interested in the bird feeders than the people.
The 125 lb bear traveled around Zion Church Rd in Hickory until law enforcement showed up to rehome him. He seemed to be batting around the bird feeders and while there were people watching all around he seemed unbothered.
