Keith Urban’s Apparent Love Affair With An Eagles Classic
I’ve been going to concerts-all musical genres-since I was 13 years old. I have seen everyone who is anyone perform during that time, and I have only one regret.
I never saw The Eagles before Glenn Frey passed away. I had several opportunities and always said, “Aw…I’ll catch em next time.”
So the first time (and last time) they came to Charlotte after his death, I didn’t miss it. They show opened with an unbelievable rendition of “Seven Bridges Road.” What makes this song special is there’s nowhere to hide. If you can sing and harmonize it’s your chance to shine. If you can’t you’re gonna look and sound really bad, really fast.
Anyway, yesterday this popped up on my YouTube feed.
IKR? How cool is that? Keith Urban and Sugarland. So I made a mental note to blog about, and share it this morning with you. That’s when I discovered that apparently, Keith Urban LOVES doing this song with people he’s on the road with, like Little Big Town (pictured above).
And Lady A…
I don’t know when concert touring will fully resume. I just know that I’m gonna play close attention to when Keith Urban comes back to town and who he’s on the road with. You never know what magic you might see and hear.
