UPS Driver Saves Dogs From Drowning
According to KCCI, a UPS driver in Iowa is being called a hero after he saved a dog from drowning in a swimming pool.
Colin Mitchell had just delivered a package to the home of Jeff and Rebecca Marra when he noticed two dogs in their backyard pool. He said into the house, “Can your dogs swim?” When he received no response, Mitchell tried knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell.
No one was home. So Mitchell decided to get a closer look at the dogs. “As I approached the pool, I could see a dog hanging on the side, inside the pool and I could see a dog swimming around on the solar cover.” So Mitchell took off his socks and shoes and jumped into the pool, where he helped the dogs climb out. “I would say he’s a hero,” Rebecca Marra says of the deliveryman.
